Job Title: General Carpenter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry, including framing, finishing, and general repairs. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications.

• Build and install framing, walls, doors, windows, stairs, cabinetry, and/or flooring.

• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.

• Collaborate with other tradespeople and site supervisors to complete projects on time.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Drive brand integrity and high customer satisfaction across all projects.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program preferred.

• Proven experience as a carpenter (2+ years preferred).

• Proficient in using electrical and manual tools and measurement equipment.

• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.

• Strong math and problem-solving skills.

• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Must provide own basic hand tools.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed.

• May require weekend or overtime work depending on project schedules.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
